GENERAL
We sell produce with long roots in our region that have a long storage life, including roasting peppers, onions, garlic, beans, squash, and melons. We also sell flower bouquets and produce art including garlic braids and dried pepper ristras.
While we do grow using organic methods (no pesticides/herbicides, no synthetic fertilizers, low till, composting, crop rotation, use of cover crops, etc.) we are not certified organic. The high barriers to certification, including cost and red tape, mean that many small farmers find certification unreasonable. We prioritize the environment, building healthy soil, and growing nutrient-rich food, with or without certification.

Sustainable is our middle name! We've taken pains to make sure that we are low-waste and anti-consumption every step of the way, including utilizing used farm supplies wherever possible, using food scraps and weeds to make compost, using cover crops to prevent erosion, using low-till methods, rotating crops, using drip-irrigation, and opting for drought-resistant crops and flowers! We're in love with sustainability and are always looking for ways to do more!
